ahhh!! so so sorry. Here's one that isn't from Lyric, but another horse I rp on another site.
Impression had come here in hopes of finding someone who could help her find out who it was that she was inside. The very idea that someone could tell you how to be may seem silly to many out there, but to the little flicka it seemed like a very logical thing. There is a passage found in the bible that says, “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure,”. That was found in Proverbs 11:14 and the little girl believed it. She thought she needed guidance. Once again her world was turned upside down. Just as she had found a counselor a ghost from her past slipped in. He was a much welcomed ghost for she had enjoyed his company greatly the first time she had met him. They had clicked and it had seemed that he had accepted her even though she could not see him. She knew that it didn’t matter to most people, but it was hard to get to know most people because they didn’t want to take the time to make the little bit of an extra effort it took to be her friend. It really meant a lot to her that he still remembered her. He did seem a little shocked that she remembered him. She thought that, that was odd but then again wasn’t it how she felt herself? She tended not to take into account these things. She wasn’t selfish, but it seemed that a lot of the time she could not see other peoples side of things. That and she underestimates herself. She had never stopped long enough to think that she might actually make an impression.
Did Sniper know Corazon? He knew his name so could it be that he had actually known him before all of this? Although Sniper did seem like the type that would know about others without actually knowing them. He was smart. Impression listened as Corazon spoke. No, his tone did not sound like they were real chummy. Actually quite the contrary. She seemed to sense some tension. Like they didn’t trust one another. Was this a stallion thing? She had heard about sometimes stallions didn’t get along with other stallions for one reason or another. Was this just one of those things? She didn’t know stallions very well. She knew a little about them, but she had mostly come into contact with mares. Mares seemed less dangerous to her than stallions. They should too because she was just a filly. True she was almost a mare but even a mare was nothing compared to the brood strength of a stallion a hyped up on testosterone. Inwardly she shuddered at the thought of what a stallion could do to her if he wanted to. She didn’t think these two were the type of stallions that would take advantage of her, but you can never be to careful.
A smile crossed over the fillies face as she listened to Corazon speak. He was such an excited fellow. She knew that they were about the same age, but she tended to be a bit more on the calm side. Lately she had developed another side to her. Not a wild side but more of a…well it would be evident to those around her what side of her she had developed. That is if she let it show. She had been around darks to long, she had developed almost a flirty way about her. Perhaps that is not the right word, flirty, perhaps seductive..She wasn’t actually trying to do anything of the sort, but her voice sometimes came out that way. It shocked even her when it happened, but sometimes her actions showed this new side as well. Like when she flicked Sniper with her tail. It was a simple gesture and yet so much could be read into it. It was not how she had been. It was not how she was born to be it was something she had become, or was becoming. She liked the closer to innocent self that she had once been, but she was both afraid and aware that that part of her was slowly fading away. No one had tried to help her keep it, instead she had only been around those who had lost that innocence a long time ago, some were born without it.
“Of course I remember you, what other sweet colt would have stood around and talked to a filly who couldn’t run and play like she knew he actually wanted to? I was here..to seek out help. I am in a tough position my friend. I am fighting a battle inside. Light or Dark.”
She wasn’t sure why she had said all of that, but why would she lie to him? He didn’t deserve to be lied to. She was glad that she could not see his reaction. She didn’t know if she wanted to know what he thought about it, but of course she did in her heart otherwise she wouldn’t have told him. A part of her trusted him, though she didn’t know why.
